A MYSTIC PLACE

 

There's a small place              c'è un piccolo posto

in a green land                        in una regione verde

where the ground smells         dove la terra profuma

of coffee and dried prunes,    di caffè e prugne secche

 

where the bad things              dove le cose brutte

don't exist more,                     non esistono più

closed in mirrors                     chiuse in specchi

without image.                        senza immagine

 

If you want you can go there puoi andare li se vuoi

just remember one thing:       solo ricorda una cosa:

if you cry or if you're sad       se piangi o se sei triste

you don't come back,             non torni indietro

 

and all the wonders                e tutte le meraviglie

suddenly disappear                 di colpo spariranno

leaving behind a vapour trail  lasciando dietro una scia di vapore

of grey and cold.                    grigio e freddo

 

I can tell you                          posso dirvi

about this mystic place           riguardo a questo posto mistico

that you can't see it                 che non potete vederlo

if don't believe it.                   se non ci credete

There are big  trees                ci sono grandi alberi

and long blue streams             e lunghi corsi d'acqua blu

and the stars shine                  e le stelle brillano

for all the day.                        per tutto il giorno
